Summary |
When you install or upgrade PayGlobal, it installs a new report catalogue (tmrr.zip) in the PayGlobal executable folder. After you install or upgrade PayGlobal, you need to run the Import Reports command to import report definitions from the new catalogue to update your report tables. Rept Folders |
Your PayGlobal installation has two Rept folders:
When you run a report, PayGlobal checks the data Rept folder before the executable Rept folder. |
Upgrading |
If you upgrade PayGlobal, then before you import reports, you must complete the following procedures to ensure that you do not loose your existing reports.
If you have reports in the data Rept folder for an old version of PayGlobal, then they may not run correctly with the updated executable. If the data Rept folder contains a standard PayGlobal report that is updated in the new version, then PayGlobal will run the old version of the report - not the updated report in the executable Rept folder. You should delete standard PayGlobal reports in the data Rept folder. Before you upgrade, you should run any designer reports in a test environment to ensure that they run correctly in the upgrade version. |
