Summary

Important: Set up requirement tours only if there are regular, recurring cycles.

Requirements are attached to a requirement tour and they repeat in a cycle. Requirement Tours describe a requirement pattern.

For example,

A Requirement Tour may consist of:

  • Seven days duration.
  • Days 1 - 5 - Two nightfill attendants required.
  • Days 6 -7 - One nightfill attendant required.
  • Nightfill attendants work 2100 - 0600 each night.

The requirement tour will look like:

Requirement tours can contain defaults, such as default shift and default placement criteria.

Setting Up Requirements
  1. Make a list of your requirements. You may have to label them so that they describe what they represent. For example a requirement might describe both a shift, and a location, so the code might be a combination of the two. In the requirement fields you may also select shift and location defaults.
  2. Set up requirement tours if there are regular and reoccurring cycles.
