Rostering | Requirements | Requirement Tours | Details tab
Summary |
Requirement tours describe a regular pattern that employees are required on a roster. Use this tab page to set the pattern that you require. |
Fields |
Date:The date the requirement tour will start. Duration:The length of the cycle. For example, '7' or '14' days. Effective end date:The end date of the requirement tour, if known. Rank:This field allows you to set a rank for multiple Allocations generated for a requirement on the same day. The Rank controls which shifts on a particular day take priority. For example, when you rank one shift higher than another, PayGlobal will attempt to roster employees for the day to the higher priority shift first. When you use auto-placement, Allocations for the same day are filled in ascending order of rank. Rank is only used to differentiate between allocations for the same day. Note: If you regenerate allocations using Maintain Allocations, then the rank of the previous instance of the allocation is retained - even if it was reset. Break:The unpaid break that is used during a requirement tour. For example, 'Lunch'. Shift:The regular Shift for a requirement tour. For example, 'Day 0800 - 1600'. Reason:To link a requirement tour to a reason. Placement Criteria:Placement criteria ensure that PayGlobal selects only suitable employees to fill a requirement. Placements required:The number of employees required in a requirement tour. |
