A Shift Code requires a Start and an End time which are set on this tab page. A Reason for a particular Shift may also be attached here. For example, Late Night Shopping.

When you enter start and end times, you must use the 24-hour clock format. For more information see Midnight Times.

Reason and Requirement

If there is a reason code against a timeband then only reason codes with the flag ‘include in allocation’ set to Yes will be considered.

There are no checks to make sure that the full shift is allocated. Basically if the employee has got a timeband with this requirement for this date, then the assumption is that they are counted as part of the requirement. This allows the greatest level of flexibility and performance, and covers most situations.
