24-hour clock

When you enter start and end times, you must use the 24-hour clock format. In this format, midnight is:

• 00:00 for a start time
• 24:00 for an end time.

If you enter End time = 00:00, then PayGlobal will change it to 24:00 when you save your changes.

Start at midnight

Daily costing is based on employee start times. When an employee starts work at midnight (00:00), their time is costed to the following day. If you want their time costed to the current day, then enter a start time that is before midnight, such as 23:45.

End after midnight

When an employee starts work before midnight and finishes work after midnight, their end time is followed by a plus sign (+) to indicate that the time is costed to the employee's work start day.

For example, if you enter Start time = 20:00 and End time = 04:00, then PayGlobal adds a plus sign when you save your changes so End time = 04:00+.
