Summary

The Copy to Sequence command simplifies the process of copying apPermanent transaction into a pay.

When you open a Standard pay, permanent transactions are automatically copied into the pay. Therefore, if you create a permanent transaction when the pay is already open, you must manually enter it into the open pay. The Copy to Sequence command copies the new permanent transaction into the open Standard pay.

Copy a Permanent Transaction to a Standard Pay

Highlight the new permanent transaction in Drill Down View.

1. In the main menu, click Tools | Copy to Sequence, or alternatively press Alt+Left arrow.

   The following Confirm message appears:
   "Copy this Allowance for [employee] to Sequence [number]?"

2. Click Yes.
3. Press Ctrl+1 (on the keyboard, not on the number pad) to change to Sequence View and confirm that the transaction was copied successfully.
