Export Files

Administration | Synchronisations | Export Files command

Summary

This is Step 3 of the Synchronisation Process.

The Export Files command takes all data from fields defined in the Synchronisation - Fields tab and creates an export file.

The name and path of the new file are defined in the Synchronisation - Details tab. This file will be in an ASCII text format, and can be opened in any application that can open text files.

See Synchronisation Process.

Troubleshooting

If a progress indicator does not appear after you have double-clicked the Export Files command, check that:

  • There is a filename and path in the Synchronisation | Details tab
  • The fields have been defined in the Synchronisation | Fields tab
  • The fields actually contain data.
