Refresh Liabilities

Administration | Refresh Liabilities command

Summary

Payroll liabilities are the nett outstanding dollars/nett accrued dollars or total dollars owed to an employee. They accumulate over time.

The Refresh Liabilities command updates the liability dollar values for:

  • Annual leave
  • Sick leave
  • Long service leave
  • Leave credits

It does not affect the liability value of units.

Where do you see employee liability?

You can see the liability owing to an employee by navigating to Employees | Payroll | Leave | Annual Leave or Sick Leave.

When do you refresh liabilities?

Use this tool after you have:

  • Synchronised any data that includes Leave Tables

    -or-

  • Made significant changes to Leave Tables.

Troubleshooting

If an employee is complaining that their annual leave or sick leave totals are incorrect, it may be because a PayGlobal user has changed a field in the leave tables and has not refreshed liabilities.

You will need to double-click the Refresh Liabilities command to recalculate the liabilities in leave tables.
