Refresh BSBN

Summary

The Refresh BSBN command copies current bank branch information from a BSBN text file into your Bank Branch records. PayGlobal uses the Bank Branch records to validate bank branch numbers when you enter a bank account.

BSBN file

 

PayGlobal provides updated BSBN files for both Australia and New Zealand as part of a software release.

These files are included in the PayGlobal installer and get extracted to your application directory as:

  • BsbnNZ.txt
  • BsbnAust.txt

Run Refresh BSBN
  1. Double-click the Refresh BSBN command.

    The Refresh BSBNs form contains the following fields:

    Delete existing items before refresh:

    Yes/No field that determines whether the command deletes existing Bank Branch records before importing information from the BSBN text file. Default setting is Yes.

    Update existing items:

    Enabled when Delete existing items before refresh = No.

    • Yes - Update existing Bank Branch records and add new records.
    • No - Just add new Bank Branch records.
  2. Select the required field values, and then click OK.
