Summary

Use this entity to create a list of ethnic groups that employees may belong to.

For example:

• Caucasian
• Asian
• Maori.

Holiday Groups

PayGlobal uses Holiday Group records to calculate payments to employees on the days specified, whether they have worked or not. Payment rules can be created to allow employees who work on these days to receive special benefits, such as overtime or lieu payments.

The Details tab of an Ethnicity record specifies the Holiday Group that employees of that ethnicity are entitled to.

Recording an employee's ethnicity

An employee's ethnicity is recorded on the Employees - Personal (ii) tab page.
