Summary |
This tab page is used to record details of Rostering Tours that are specific to an employee. |
Fields |
Rank:If an employee has more than one tour on the same date, then the rank determines which tour record PayGlobal will use. Ranking is applied in the following order:
Effective start date:The date the employee will commence this roster pattern. Effective end date:Leave this field blank if the tour is ongoing. This is the date that you want the tour to end. It can be used where an employee may be working a roster cycle for a specific period of time. Tour:This is the tour that the settings relate to. Start day:This is the day number within the tour that an employee starts work. An employee may start work on any shift during a tour. For example, in a three week tour cycle, an employee could start work on any day from 1 to 21. Another example could be that an employee works Wednesday to Sunday. If you attached a tour to an employee record with an effective start date of 06/04/2009 (Monday), then the start day would be 6 (2 days off, then 5 days on). Reason:Optional, according to company requirements. Reason codes are generally used for reporting purposes in conjunction with an Employee Tour. Break:The unpaid break that an employee is entitled to. If this field is left blank, the employee tour will use either the break code specified in the tour code or the shift code. If a break code cannot be found the employee's default break code will be used. Requirement:Select a requirement from the pick list to indicate the resources required for the tour. For example, a tour may require three regular nurses as resources. If this field is left blank the requirement code specified in the tour code or shift code will be used. Requirement Tour:Select a requirement tour from the pick list to indicate the requirement tour. Requirements are attached to a requirement tour and they repeat in a cycle. Requirement Tours describe a requirement pattern. For example, A Requirement Tour may consist of:
Nightfill attendants work 2100 - 0600 each night. |
