Employees - Rostering - Timeband Overrides

Employees | T&A/Rostering | Rostering | Timeband Overrides tab

Summary

Use this tab page to override an employee's roster for a period of time on one day.

A timeband is the period of time in a shift that an employee works, for example, 16:00 to 22:00. Sometimes you need to override the standard timebands in an employee's shift. Using the above example, the employee may work 15:00 to 22:30 on Fridays only.

If you want to override a shift, then you can select the Shift code on the Shift Override tab.

Using Timeband Overrides

You can use Timeband Overrides to create a roster for an employee who does not work regular hours. For example, a company may roster a casual employee so they can see the number of staff rostered to work on a particular day.

  1. Click Edit.
  2. Press Insert.

The Add Employee Timeband Overrides window appears.

  3. Complete the following tab pages as required.

You can use secondary sorting on this tab page.

For example, if you click Date and then Start Time while holding down the Shift key, you can sort records by Date and within each Date by Start Time.
