Fringe benefit:Fringe Benefit record associated with the employee. PayGlobal uses this record to calculate the salary packaging benefit split. Period:Period code that the employee's fringe benefits belong to. Default value is the employee’s current pay period code. Start date:The values in this Employee Fringe Benefit record are applied from this date. Start date must be greater than the last closed pay period end date for this employee. End date:The values in this Employee Fringe Benefit record are applied until this date. If End date is blank, then this Employee Fringe Benefit continues until it is end-dated. You can select only period end dates for this employee. FB calculation method:Calculation method that PayGlobal uses to determine the employee's fringe benefit amount for a pay period.
FB amount or %:If FB calculation method = "Fixed amount", then enter the maximum dollar value of the employee’s pay that can be paid as fringe benefits per pay period. A warning appears if you enter a value that exceeds the maximum fringe benefit available for the pay period. If FB calculation method = "% of Unpackaged Gross", then enter the maximum percentage of the employee’s pay that can be paid as fringe benefits per pay period. If FB calculation method = "FB Rem Package", then the FB amount or % field is disabled and populated with the FB amount from the employee’s current employee package. Other Type 1 annual FB amount:The Type 1 external fringe benefit amount for the employee. PayGlobal uses this value in the employee's threshold calculations. Other Type 2 annual FB amount:The Type 2 external fringe benefit amount for the employee. PayGlobal uses this value in the employee's threshold calculations. |
