Note: The Fringe Benefits tab page is not displayed if FB Employer Type = 'None' in Company Settings. See Company Settings - Tax Details (Aus).

The Fringe Benefits tab contains fringe benefit fields and Employee Fringe Benefits makeup records. If you model the employee record, then PayGlobal does not copy these fringe benefit fields.

Fields

Disable fringe benefit:

If you select 'Yes', then you can use the date fields to stop the employee's fringe benefit calculations for a specific period.

Disable fringe benefit from:

Enabled when Disable fringe benefit = Yes. The employee's fringe benefit calculations are stopped from this date.

Disable fringe benefit to:

Enabled when Disable fringe benefit = Yes. The employee's fringe benefit calculations are stopped until this date.

Ignore period cap test until:

The employee's period cap is ignored until this date.

Ignore annual cap test until:

The employee's annual cap is ignored until this date.

Calc FB for manual pays:

This Yes/No field determines whether PayGlobal calculates the Salary Packaging benefit split and generates fringe benefits when you process this employee in a Manual pay.

Warning message

If you change the Ignore period cap test until or Ignore annual cap test until values, then the following warning appears:

"Changes to Ignore period cap test until or Ignore annual cap test until will affect any current open pays. Any open pays will be forced to be reprocessed. Continue?"

• Yes - Your changes are saved, and any open pays for employees with this Fringe Benefit code are flagged as 'unprocessed'.
• No - Your changes are not saved.

Employee Fringe Benefits makeup table

The Employee Fringe Benefits makeup table contains the employee's fringe benefit details.
