Summary

Use this tab page when you want the value in a User-Defined Field (UDF) to accumulate.

For example, a sick leave anniversary UDF could accumulate the units of sick leave entitlement.

Note: User-defined accumulations can only be used with the Employee table.

Fields
Accumulator:

Select 'Yes' if you want the UDF to accumulate.

Period type:

This is the way you want the UDF to accumulate:

I. Indefinite

Z. Super PTD

P. PTD

C. Specified Date Range

T. Tax PTD

L. Annual Leave Period

M. MTD

S. Sick Leave Period

Y. YTD

O. Long Service Leave Period

F. FinancialYTD

V. Leave Credit Period

Specified start and end date:

These fields define a period within which you want the accumulation to occur.

Pay type:

Select from:

  • Both (default setting)
    Accumulations apply to both standard and manual pay sequences.
  • Standard
    Accumulations only apply to standard pay sequences.
  • Manual
    Accumulations only apply to manual pay sequences.
Store history:

Select 'Yes' or 'No' to store history.

Accumulating allowance code:

An allowance that will accumulate for the UDF that you are creating. For example, with an accumulating sick leave anniversary, you would select the sick leave allowance.

Type:

This is the method used for the accumulation:

  • Quantity

    Accumulation increases by the value entered in the Quantity field when a transaction is entered.

  • Equivalent

    Accumulation looks at the value entered in the Quantity field and multiplies that value by the value found in the Factor field when a transaction is entered.

  • Total

    Accumulation is the value found in the Transaction total field when a transaction is entered.

Module:

This is the PayGlobal module that you want an accumulating UDF to appear in.

Include in rebuild

When set to Yes, running the Rebuild Accumulators command will rebuild the values stored in this User Defined Field.

If it is set to No, the values stored in this field will be untouched.
