Refresh TotalALAccrued

Administration | Refresh TotalALAccrued command

Summary

Important: Do not run this function if employees did not start accruing from the annual leave table start date.
Do not run this command if the accrued/pro-rata annual leave values have been synchronised in and the employee’s annual leave has not yet rolled over.

The Refresh TotalALAccrued command refreshes the following employee fields and runs Refresh Liabilities:

New Zealand databases

  • Annual Leave tab | Total accrued
  • Annual Leave tab | Gross earnings accrued ($)
  • Extra Week tab | Total accrued
  • Extra Week tab | Gross earnings accrued ($)

Australian databases

  • Annual Leave tab | Total pro-rata
  • Annual Leave tab | Gross earnings pro-rata ($)

When you run this command

The Filter | Details tab displays the following fields:

Query:

Use a query to select a specific group of employees or leave this field as "Default" to select all employees.

Employee:

Select an employee in the pick list or leave this field blank to select all employees.

Using this command to refresh an employee's Total pro-rata or Total accrued fields has the same effect as:

  1. Deleting the field value.
  2. Tabbing to the next field.

Clicking OK in the Calculate units accrued as at form for that employee.

Using this command to refresh an employee's Gross earnings pro-rata ($) or Gross earnings accrued ($) fields has the same effect as:

  1. Deleting the field value.
  2. Tabbing to the next field.
  3. Selecting Curr % in the Calculate AL Gross % based on form for that employee.
  4. Clicking OK.
Recalculate annual leave YTD's

When selected, PayGlobal will recalculate the annual leave accrual values mentioned in the summary section taking into account employees that have started or rolled midway through a period in the current annual leave year.

For a starting employee, this will include the accrual portion of the period they started in that they worked.

For employees that have rolled their annual leave year, the refresh will include the portion of the period after the annual leave end date into their accrual values.

Note: This field is designed to be run once for an employee and will be removed at a later date. Please consult the Leave Manual for more details.

Report Only

When selected and then run, the Report Only will display an audit log with what the annual leave accrual values are before running the refresh and what they will be if the refresh is run.

When selected, the actual update of the values does not occur.
