Step 3 - Attach the Payroll Rule

Summary

You can attach payroll rules to the following entities:

  • Awards.
  • Periods.
  • Internal Companies.

Procedure

You should always attach payroll rules to the highest level of the hierarchy, which is Internal Companies.

  1. Navigate to Organisation | Divisions | Internal Companies and double-click the required internal company.
  2. Click the Payroll Rules tab, Click Edit then press Insert.
  3. In the Select Payroll Rules list, click the checkbox to select
    the Car allowance. Click OK.
  4. Double-click the Car allowance.
  5. The View Internal Company Payroll Rule Makeups form appears.
  6. Click Edit.
  7. In the Evaluate rule before field, select Z. Finalisation.

  8. Click Save + Close to return to the Payroll Rules tab.
  9. Click Save + Close to return to the Internal Companies Grid.
