Awards - Performance Setting (TA/RS)

Organisation | Entitlements | Awards | Performance Setting (TA/RS) tab

Summary

In PayGlobal versions from 1.94 RC5, Awards records include a Performance Setting (TA/RS) tab page with a Checking cache mode (TA/Roster) check box.

Existing security profiles do not automatically have access to the Performance Setting (TA/RS) tab. This needs to be set up after you upgrade.

Important: Only administrative users should have access to this tab.

Checking cache mode (TA/Roster)

By default, the Checking cache mode (TA/Roster) check box is not selected.

Important: Select Checking cache mode (TA/Roster) only if your award rules use the specified clauses.

If your award rules use the specified clauses, then selecting the Checking cache mode (TA/Roster) check box will increase processing speeds. However, if your award rules do not use the specified clauses, then selecting this check box will decrease processing speeds.

Important: Your database administrator or PayGlobal consultant should test processing speeds to check whether the Checking cache mode (TA/Roster) setting improves database performance.
