History Analysis Window

Features

The following example shows the main features of the History Analysis window.

Main menu - File
Save Layout (Ctrl +S):

Customise your History Analysis window and then save the layout.

Exit:

Close the History Analysis window.

Toolbars

The History Analysis window contains the Style toolbar and the Grid toolbar (see History Analysis Toolbars).

Grouping area

If you drag-and-drop a column header into the Grouping area, then PayGlobal groups the employee’s transactions by that criteria. You can then drag-and-drop other column headers to create sub-groups. In the above example, transactions are grouped by Sort (such as 1. Taxable Allowances) and then by Code (such as 011).

Column headers

The column headers indicate the aspect of the transaction that is displayed the column. Column headers have the following functions:

  • Drag-and-drop headers into the Grouping area to group transactions.
  • Drag-and-drop headers in the grid to change their order.
  • Click a header to sort transactions (in ascending or descending order) by that aspect of the transaction.
  • Change the column widths as in other PayGlobal grids.
  • Use Customise Columns in the right-click menu to add or remove columns.

Grid

The grid displays transaction details in cells. If you select an entity cell, such as Cost Centre Code, and press Ctrl+Enter, then you can ‘jump’ to the entity record.

Totals

The totals reflect the grouping. The above example has totals for Code, Sort, and all allowance transactions.

Leave Calendar

The Leave Calendar is a useful reference tool that displays employee leave in a yearly calendar.
