PayGlobal uses the following guidelines for address details:

  • Valid field characters are: A-Z 0-9 ( ) space & / ' " - # :
  • First field character must not be a space
  • Field must not contain two spaces between characters.

Valid Australian addresses have the following features:

  • Address lines 1 and 3 cannot be empty.
  • State cannot be “OTH - Other”.
  • Country must be “Aus - Australia” or [Blank].
  • Post code can be only numeric values in the range 0001 – 9998.

Valid overseas addresses have the following features:

Reports

The employee's Use Postal Address value determines whether the PGPRTAXA026: Tax file Declaration report uses the employee's Postal or Residential address. This functionality will be added to PGPRTAXA027C and PGPRTAXA027H in a future release. However, no validation exists in PayGlobal to prevent you from saving employee records with blank Postal or Residential addresses. We recommend that you follow ATO guidelines for entering Australian addresses and do not leave these fields blank if you want use them in reports.
