This tab page records details about the dispute.

Fields
Manager:

The complainant’s manager.

Complainant type:

Values specified by the ACC are:

  • Employee
  • Employer
  • Insurer
  • Registered Medical Practitioner
  • Bargaining Agent
  • Other
Employee:

Enabled when Complainant type = Employee.

The employee that this dispute applies to. When you save the form, the Complainant Location and Complainant Contract fields, and fields on the Complainant Representative tab page are populated with information from the employee’s record.

Nature of Dispute:

The ACC uses this coding system for ACC related disputes, but you can use it for other purposes.

Values specified by the ACC are:

  • Blank (default)
  • 1. Worker application

    Application by worker insured for a review of any of the insurer’s decisions.

  • 2. Employee workplace application

    Application by employer for a review of the insurer’s decision that injury is work- related suffered during employment with employer.

  • 3. Employer Insurer review

    Application by employer for a review of the insurer’s decision that injury is attributable to that employer.

  • 4. Other application

    Application by registered health professional for a review of insurer’s decision that registered health professional contributed to injury through medical error.

  • 5. Insurer application
    Application by managing / receiving insurer.

ACCPP Claim Data file requirement - NZ only.

Note: A dispute will not be included in the ACC file if there is no associated Claim.

Bargaining agent:

Enabled when Complainant type = Bargaining Agent.

The code of the bargaining agent representing the employee in a dispute. When you save the record the bargaining agent's details are copied to the Complainant Representative tab page.

Complainant location:

Location of the complainant’s workplace.

Complainant contract:

Complainant’s employment contract.

Date logged:

Date the dispute was logged.

Expected liability:

Estimate of the company liability for the dispute.

Dispute issue type:

Reason for the dispute, for example ‘Personal Grievance’ or ‘Sexual Harassment’.

Claim:

Enabled when the Employee field is populated.

Links a Dispute to an Accident Claim or WorkCover Claim. PayGlobal displays Claim records for this employee only.

Dispute status:

Status of the dispute. For example, Filed with Employment Court, Waiting for Mediation or Resolved.

Company contact:

If the primary company contact is an employee, then enter their employee code here. If a third party is used, such as a legal firm, then leave this field blank and enter the contact details in the Company Representative tab page.
