Timesheet Settings - Options

Self-Service | Timesheet Settings | Options tab

Summary

Self-Service 4.0.5 and later functionality.

The settings on the Options tab control which functionality is available in timesheeting.

Your consultant needs to complete additional configuration to set up overtime and flexitime.

Fields
Use overtime:

Overtime can be displayed in a separate Overtime Hours column on employee timesheets so the overtime is more obvious to the approver.

This functionality is available for employees with 2.Timebands by timesheet type timesheets only.

  • Yes

    The Overtime Hours column is visible (overtime functionality must be configured).

  • No - The Overtime Hours column is hidden.
Show expected hours:

Expected Hours allows employees to see the hours that they are expected to work each day.

  • Yes

    The Expected Hours row or column is visible on employee timesheets so employees can see the hours that they are expected to work each day.

  • No

    The Expected Hours row/column is hidden.

Use flexitime:

The Flexitime fields allow employees to see their flexitime balances.

This functionality is available for employees with 2.Timebands by timesheet type timesheets only.

If you use Self-Service 4.2.1 or greater, you can select fortnightly pay periods for Group 2 timesheets (see Timesheet Settings - Details). If you select a fortnightly pay period, the Use flexitime field is set to "No" and disabled.

    The flexitime fields are hidden.
