Remove Report from Database

Summary

When reports become obsolete, the Import Reports command no longer imports them.

If you still have the reports in your database, then after you upgrade, you can use the following process to completely remove them.

Note: If you were still using these obsolete reports, then ensure that you copy your report settings to the current reports.

Delete rif files from database
  1. Navigate to your version Rept folder, such as C:\PayGlobal\Versions\1.95\Rept.
  2. Delete the obsolete rif files.
  3. Navigate to your data Rept folder, such as C:\PayGlobal\Data\Live\Rept.
  4. Delete the obsolete rif file, if they exist.
  5. Run the Import Reports command.
  6. Run the Update Report Definitions Table command.

Remove report from report groups
  1. Open the relevant report group.
  2. Click Edit.
  3. Right-click the obsolete report and click Delete Record.
  4. When the Confirm message appears, click Yes.
  5. Click Save + Close.

If you have added the report to any other report groups, then remove it from them too.
