The MYOB PayGlobal Gateway Solution will show you the Due date for your IR filing obligations. This is to help prevent filing late and putting the company at risk of financial penalties.

To ensure the due date shown caters for the times where the due date falls on a public holiday, you may wish to assign a Holiday Group the IR holiday group field on the Tax Details tab in Modify Company Settings.

Provincial and local holidays (e.g. Auckland Anniversary, Canterbury Show Day are considered “work days” for IR filing purposes). If you assign a holiday group please ensure such dates are excluded. It is recommended that a new Holiday Group be created to serve this purpose.

Not assigning a Holiday Group means you will always be shown the first week day date that occurs 2 days after the payment date set for the pay.
