Summary

The Data tab is a free text area where the actual results or other related data from a Performance Plan can be entered.

This result data is then compared to the measurement standard outlined in the Details tab page of a Performance Measure.

Example

For example, a KPI of 'Decrease in absenteeism' -

The Measurement might be "percentage decrease in factory absences"

-and-

The Data entered would be the actual decrease (or increase) that occurred.

Unexpected Results

Sometimes there is a valid reason for unexpected results. These are recorded in the Reason for Variance tab page.
