Performance Measures - Reason for Variance

Human Resources | Performance Management | Performance Planning | Performance Plans | Performance Measure tab | Add or Edit | Reason for Variance tab

Summary

Sometimes there may be a valid reason for a serious variance between the requirement and the result recorded in a Performance Plan. For example, seasonal conditions or under-staffing may affect a result.

Variance may be either positive or negative.

Recording the reasons for variance here will help when you are developing future strategies or corrective action.
