Recalculate PIR

When you edit and save a Work Area Positions record, the following Confirm message appears:

"Do you wish to re-calculate the Position In Range for employees with appointments in this Work Area Position?"

• Yes

  PayGlobal uses Remuneration Details settings to recalculate the Position In Range values for employees appointed to this Work Area Position.

• No

  PayGlobal does not recalculate the Position In Range values.

Benchmarks

If you save a Work Area Positions record with Job Evaluation tab | Benchmark = Yes, then the following Confirm message appears:

"The job evaluation for this Work Area Position is a benchmark. Only status, market rate, slope value and constant will be editable once saved. Are you sure you wish to save?"

A consulting firm can apply regression analysis to WAP benchmarks and to plot lines of best fit. These plotted lines identify the market rates for all organisations based on the number of lines assigned to the WAP.
