Summary |
PayGlobal automates many processes that are performed by Work Area Positions using the right-click menu. Options available on this menu may differ according to where your cursor is positioned. |
Copy Defaults from Position |
The Generate Work Area Positions run command creates a group of Work Area Position records that are based on existing work areas and positions. To save data entry time, use the position set in the Details (i) tab page of a work area position as a template.
The Copy Defaults From Position right-click function only copies the data that remains identical whether a job is described as a Position or a Work Area Position. When a Position is separated out into a number of Work Area Positions, different conditions may apply according to physical location. For example, remuneration structure may differ according to locality. |
Recalculate Correlation Factor |
The Correlation Factor is a value based on the correlation between market size and job size for a particular Work Area Position. It is displayed on the Job Evaluation tab page. Use this function after changes have been made to:

Recalculate Job Size |
If you change any categories on the Assessments tab page, then you must use the right-click menu option Recalculate Job Size. PayGlobal can recalculate a job size only if you have assigned assessment and points values to every Work Area Position Assessments record. PayGlobal displays the recalculated job size in the Job Evaluation tab | Job size field. |
