Work Area Positions - Remuneration Details

Human Resources | Position Management | Establishment | Work Area Positions | Remuneration Details tab

Summary

The Remuneration Details tab page sets the remuneration policy for this Work Area Position in relation to a job evaluation. They slot a Work Area Position into a salary band. These values apply to the general remuneration policy for all employees appointed to this WAP, not to a specific employee's remuneration.

Procedure

You can use either of the following methods to populate these tab page fields:

  • Automatically using job evaluation banding, job evaluations or banding independent of positions.

PayGlobal uses Job Evaluation tab values to populate Remuneration Details tab fields when you set a job size, slope value, constant and correlation factor. Use the right-click menu options to ensure that calculation includes the most current data. You can edit only the With a spread from and to fields.

  • Manually using salary ranges.

To simply recalculate remuneration ranges, leave the Job Evaluation tab fields blank and manually enter remuneration range values on the Remuneration Details tab page.
