Summary |
Organisations with large numbers of employees may choose to use Job Evaluation Salary Bands for remuneration purposes. Salary Bands group Work Area Positions that share the same job size. |
Salary Bands |
Salary Bands set up salary scales for a group based on a range of job size points. For example, a Financial Accountant position might fall into a band of job sizes that range from 410 to 490 points. All Positions with sizes falling between the band parameters will be assigned to that particular band. |
Job Evaluations |
Job Evaluation records are required for each Work Area Position. The Job Evaluation defines the job size which places a Work Area Position into the appropriate Salary band. |
Updating Work Area Positions |
Making changes to a Salary Band invalidates previous Job Evaluation records. Before PayGlobal closes a Salary Band to return to the Grid, the following confirm message appears: "Do you wish to update related information in attached Work Area Positions?"
