Summary

Banding can calculate the place that a Work Area Position occupies in relation to others within an organisation.

Procedure

1. Create records for Salary Bands.
2. Navigate to the Range Details tab page of the first Salary Band.
3. Change to Edit mode.
4. In the Band average points field, enter the required value.
5. Press Enter to reach the Slope value field. This action updates the calculated values on the right-hand side for:

   Salary range midpoint

   Remuneration min

   Remuneration max

6. Click Save.
7. Click Next to reach the next Salary Band.
8. Repeat steps 3 - 7 until all Band average points are entered.
9. Click Close to return to the Grid.
