By classifying work area positions into salary bands or ranges, an organisation can use market rate information as well as internal information to ensure that positions in the same range are treated as of equivalent value. |
Function |
Sometimes changes are made to employee remuneration values. Such changes affect: PayGlobal automates this process with the Recalculate all PIR run command that updates records for all affected work area positions in the Position in Range field. For example, if the remuneration policy for a group of employees changes (e.g. from base salary to fixed remuneration), the Recalculate all PIR command automatically updates all relevant data held in PayGlobal. |
