Interview Panel Instructions

Human Resources | Recruitment | Interview Panel Details

Summary

Following is a detailed set of instructions for recording the results of an interview questionnaire given to a number of applicants by an interview panel.

Before you start

Procedure
  1. Navigate to Human Resources | Recruitment | Interview Panels.
  2. Press Insert to add a record. You will reach the Add Interview Panels form.
  3. Enter a Code and Description for the panel that is conducting the interviews.
  4. Click Save, then click Edit.
  5. Right-click and then select Add Record from the menu to reach the Add Interview Panel Members form.

    You will now associate the first Panel Member with this Interview Panel.

  6. In the Details tab, select the Panel Member Code for the first Panel Member on the Interview Panel.
  7. Click Save, then click Edit.
  8. In the Recruitment Centres tab, press Insert to reach the Add Panel Member Recruitment Centres form.  

    You will now associate the recruitment centre created previously with the Panel Member selected in Step 6.

  9. In the Details tab, select the Recruitment Centre Code that this Panel Member is interviewing for.
  10. Click Save, then click Edit.
  11. In the Applicants tab, press Insert to reach the Add Panel Member Recruitment Centre Applicants form.

    You will now attach the first applicant interviewed by this Panel Member. You will then record the interview questions and scores given by this Panel Member to the first applicant.

  12. In the Details tab, select the Applicant Code for the first applicant that the Panel Member is interviewing.
  13. Click Save, then click Edit.
  14. In the Questionnaires tab, press Insert to reach the Add Panel Member Recruitment Centre Applicant Questionnaires form.  

    You will now record the questionnaire that was given to an applicant during the interview.

  15. In the Details tab, select the Questionnaire Code that was used for the applicant.
  16. Click Save.
  17. A Confirm message appears:

    "Do you wish to set up assessment records for all applicant questions?"

    Select Yes. This action will populate the Assessments tab page with the questions in the selected questionnaire so that the scores for each question can be assigned.

  18. Click Edit.
  19. In the Assessments tab, press Enter on the first question to reach the View Panel Member Recruitment Centre Applicant Questionnaire Assessment form. You will be in the Details tab.
  20. Click Edit.
  21. In the Score field, enter the score that this Interview Panel Member gave this applicant for this question. PayGlobal uses this score when calculating the average score for an applicant.
  22. If you do not want to include this score in an applicant's average score, in the combo box for the Include in average field, select No.
  23. Click Save.
  24. Click Next to add the results of the next question in this questionnaire.
  25. Repeat Steps 20 to 24 until you have recorded the results of all questions given to this applicant.
  26. Click Close to reach the Edit Panel Member Recruitment Centre Applicant Questionnaires form.
  27. Click Save + Close to reach the Edit Panel Member Recruitment Centre Applicants form.
  28. In the Details tab, select the Applicant Code for the second applicant that this Panel Member has interviewed.
  29. Repeat Steps 15 to 28 until all applicant questionnaires have been recorded for the first Interview Panel Member.
  30. Click Save + Close to reach the Edit Panel Member Recruitment Centres form.
  31. Click Save + Close to reach the Interview Panel Members form.
  32. In the Details tab, enter the Panel Member Code for the second Interview Panel Member.
  33. Repeat Steps 9 to 31 until all details for the second Panel Member have been recorded.
  34. Click Add to add the next Panel Member.
  35. Click Save + Close to reach the Edit Interview Panels form.
  36. Click Save + Close to return to the Grid.
