Summary |
Cycle-type accrual methods allow you to do 'mini roll-overs' within the sick leave cycle. They are more commonly used in Australia than in New Zealand, and they occur in standard pays only. The Cycle accrual method is similar to the Proportional accrual method, but entitlement is calculated several times during the sick leave cycle. |
Available in |
This method of unit accrual is available for sick leave tables only. |
Example |
During an employee's first 12 months, they have a proportional monthly sick leave entitlement of 2% of their hours worked. You can attach the employee to an annual "Cycle" sick leave table that gives them 12 'mini roll-overs' for 2% of their hours worked. |
