Annual Leave Tables - Misc

Payroll | Leave Setup | Annual Leave Tables | Misc tab

Summary

The Misc tab page controls Full-time Equivalent (FTE) information for annual leave.

On employee rollover
Leave Credit Code:

Under some employment contracts, employees are entitled to additional annual leave units if they work or earn a specified number of allowances. For example, in some industries employees are entitled to an additional week's holiday (or part thereof) if they work more than 120 shifts in their annual leave cycle. If the employee qualifies, then on roll over their additional units are stored under the leave credit code specified in this field.

Rollover rate/rule (NZ only):

Select a specific rate such as Standard or Average. PayGlobal values the outstanding leave at the Roll over rate/rule. Then it adds this value to the adjusted hourly rate breakdown (on the employee's O/S tab page) to determine the FTE (Full-Time Equivalent) component of outstanding leave. The date of this component is one day less than the employee's annual leave anniversary data so the FTE component of outstanding leave is paid out before any other breakdowns.

Maximum qualifying/worked hours:

This value is the maximum number of days or hours (depending on the Setup tab | Entitlement unit) that an employee can work in this annual leave cycle. This value provides a maximum for Total hours paid or Gross qualifying hours (on the employee's Annual Leave tab) in annual leave calculations.

Maximum FTE hours paid:

This field specifies a maximum for full-time hours paid in the current annual leave year.
