Leave Credit Tables

Payroll | Leave Setup | Leave Credit Tables

Summary

Leave credits enable an employee to accrue leave in addition to annual leave. Employees usually receive leave credit payments for time in lieu, alternative holidays, or for working unsocial hours such as night shift. They do not usually receive leave credits for working overtime.

Leave credit payments are usually Alternative Holiday (NZ) or Time in Lieu (Australia) payments that are used instead of overtime payments.

Leave credit tables allow you to attach multiple Leave Credit records to a single table. Employees accrue leave credits for time that can be taken as leave at a later date. Examples of leave credits include:

  • Alternative Holiday (NZ only)
  • Day in Lieu (Australia only)
  • Rostered Day Off
  • Shift Leave.
