Summary

The Details tab defines how the Leave Credit accrues units.

Fields

Unit:

Determines whether this Leave Credit accrues units in Hours or Days.

Type:

'One Balance' allows you to view the total number of units accrued for this Leave Credit.

Factor:

In transactions for this Leave Credit, PayGlobal multiplies the Quantity by the Factor to give the Transaction total. The Factor is usually 1 for ordinary time, 1.5 for time and a half, and 2 for double time.

Daily maximum:

Maximum number of units that can be accrued in one day.

Calculation of qualifying hours:

This field gives you the ability to specify how to convert leave credits in days to hours if the leave credit unit is Days.

If the leave credit unit is Hours no conversion is necessary and PayGlobal will simply default to use the quantity (E. Use Quantity)

If the leave credit unit is Days, PayGlobal allows you to convert the days to hours either using the average profiled hours (D. Average hours) or using the profiled hours on the leave days (C. Profiled hours).

If you have selected the C. Profiled hours option the daily rate will be corrected to use the hours on the day(s) rather than an average daily rate.

The leave credit hours can then also be included in any hourly accumulators if the accumulator has the type hourly conversion.

Total maximum:

Maximum number of units that can be accrued for this Leave Credit. When the Leave Credit reaches this maximum, no further accruals are allowed.

Payslip output type:

This field determines how leave credits are displayed on the employee's payslip.

  Do not show leave credits.
