Leave Credit Allowances are used in the following areas of PayGlobal:
- Transaction View
In Transaction View, V-type allowance transaction forms display a Balance value at the top of the form. This value indicates the current leave credit balance and takes into account any transactions in other open pays.
- Pay Processing
When you process a pay, PayGlobal prepares to increase the leave credit balance, but it does not actually increase the balance until you close the pay. After you process pay for an employee, you can view their new balance in Transaction View by clicking View | Proposed Changes in the main menu. These proposed changes will include updates to the Allowances field on the Employee Leave Credits | Details tab based on values in the employee's Leave Credit Allowances and any V-type allowance transactions.
- Pay Close
When you close a pay, PayGlobal actions the proposed changes to update the employee's leave credit balance and Employee Leave Credits | Details | Allowances field.
