Fields |
Allowance: You can select any allowance from the pick list, but you would normally attach a Y-type allowance (leave credit accrued). Important: PayGlobal will not process any V-type allowances (leave credit paid) attached to Leave Credit Allowances makeup records. You can pay out leave credits as part of an ordinary pay or upon employee termination, and you may need to use a different allowance for each of these situations. You can associate several allowances with a Leave Credit record by adding Leave Credit Allowances. In Australian databases, you can use the Leave Credit Table Leave Credits - Details - Payout allowance field to specify the allowance PayGlobal uses to pay out leave credits on termination. If you do not specify a Payout allowance, then PayGlobal uses the Leave Credit Allowance that ranks highest alphabetically or numerically based on allowance code. Type: The Type option that you select determines how PayGlobal calculates leave credit balances. When you process a pay, PayGlobal prepares to increase the leave credit balance. It does not actually increase the balance until you close the pay because Y-type allowances are accruals. Quantity Based - PayGlobal increases the employee's leave credit balance by the transaction Quantity value multiplied by the leave credit allowance's Factor value. Transaction Based - PayGlobal increases the employee's leave credit balance by the leave credit allowance Factor value. You can use this Type as a Factor-based counter rather than a calculated accrual Calculated - Client-specific option that uses a special nlx formula that you can enter in the field below Type. |
