Summary

Important: Payroll Rules should only be created by your PayGlobal Consultant. Changing Payroll Rules incorrectly will have a severe impact on your system.

This is the final stage of the filtering process that employees must pass through before they progress to the Action Clause.

Qualifying Clauses use information from both Payroll and T&A to filter employees.

Examples

Examples of Qualifying Clauses are:

Master. Total gross is greater than 0.01 - The employee must have received some payment in the Pay Period being processed.

Master. Total gross is greater than 0.01 and Has at least one allowance(s) of "ANNLEAVE" is True - The employee has received some annual leave during the Pay Period.

Appointments Qualifying Clauses

An additional qualifying clause is available for appointments when:

  • UseEffectiveTransactions=1 in Hr.ini
  • Edit WAP codes = Yes in Modify Company Settings (Payroll | Processing | Transactions tab).

The following qualifying clause is available for appointments:

  • Has at least one effective Appointment for pay.
