Fields

Use the following fields to build a rate rule:

Rate Code A:

First rate to consider in the rate rule.

Rate Code A to Pay:

Rate applied to the transaction if Rate Code A is used.

Operator:

Determines how Rate Code A and B are compared. Options are:

• [Blank]
• Greater of
• Lesser of.

For example, if you select "Lesser of", and Rate Code A is less than Rate Code B, then Rate Code A is used in the transaction.

Rate Code to pay if equal:

If Rate Code A and B are equal, then the rule uses the rate defined in this field.

Note: If Rate Code A and B are equal, but this field is [Blank], then the rule uses Rate Code B to Pay, and if this field is [Blank], then it uses Rate Code B.

Rate Code B:

Second rate to consider in the rate rule.

Rate Code B to Pay:

Rate applied to the transaction if Rate Code B is used.
