This tab page is optional.

Complete the fields if you want the values entered here to override other values when you enter an Allowance transaction.

Period allowances on the Details tab are second in the Allowance Transaction Hierarchy. They override other values in allowance transaction entry, with the exception of allowances that are attached to Awards.

Fields

Allowance:

Associates an allowance with the remaining fields on this tab. Any values in the remaining fields on this tab are triggered when the allowance selected here is used in transaction entry.

Cost Centre:

The cost centre selected here overrides the default allowance cost centre or employee cost centre.

Factor:

The Factor entered here overrides default factors set for an allowance.

Rate Amount:

This rate amount overrides the default allowance rate amount or the employee rate amount.

Proportional costing:

Select Yes to enable proportional costing for this allowance. This overrides the setting on the Allowances - Details (iii) tab.

General ledger code:

Enter the general ledger code specific to this period allowance.

General ledger description:

Enter a description for the general ledger code specified above.
