Periods - Calendar

Organisation | General Periods | Periods | Calendar tab

Summary

The Calendar tab specifies the pay period date ranges for the financial year ahead. Each record in the calendar contains a From and To date range, which populates automatically depending on the frequency of the period specified in the Details tab.

Example

For example, if Frequency = 'Weekly', you need to add 52 calendar records for any given financial year.

Accumulators

Each calendar record also contains a set of Accumulators, from which reporting and costing information are generated.

For periods that have an internal company specified in the Details tab page, the tax accumulators must be identical. For example, if a company pays tax in the first half of the month, all tax PTD accumulators must be set to the first half of the month. Otherwise the tax YTD values are zeroed.
