Accumulators must be set up before using the Roll Calendar function.

Use the principles of Modelling PTD Accumulators to complete the Tax to Date and Month to Date accumulators, after you have completed the PTDs.

Procedure

In addition:

• Change the description for each record.
• You must check the dates are correct for the new TTD and MTD accumulators. This is because the projected dates for the subsequent first period type is established based on the number of days between the dates within the modelled period type.

Unfortunately tax periods and superannuation periods do not normally have the same fixed number of days between start and end periods.

You can correct the dates either at this stage, or when adding the period types to the period list.
