Summary |
The Create UDA Breakdowns command allows PayGlobal to take the historical data held within the PayGlobal database and automatically generate User- Defined Accumulator breakdowns. These UDA Breakdown records are created based on the settings defined in Leave Defaults. By using this command you can define which employees will have UDA Breakdown records created. Each time this command is run the UDA Breakdown records are recreated. For New Zealand databases running this command enables PayGlobal to accurately calculate the new rates required by the New Zealand Holidays Act 2003 (see Company Settings - Holidays Act (NZ)) |

Note: The options available to you in the Employee and Employee Query fields are specific to your security access. Employee:Select an employee in the pick list or leave this field blank to select all employees. Employee Query:Use a query to select a specific group of employees or leave this field as "Default" to select all employees. From Period start date:Use this field if UDA Breakdown records are required from a specific date. Leave this field blank to create UDA Breakdowns for all closed pay sequences contained in your database. Note: New Zealand databases require at least 12 months worth of UDA Breakdown records. |
What happens when I run this command? |
PayGlobal firstly gives you the option to remove any existing 'system generated' UDA Breakdown records. If you select Yes PayGlobal deletes these then recreates them based on your UDA definitions. Secondly, PayGlobal creates a UDA Breakdown record in accordance with your selections from the fields above and your UDA definitions. Note: 'System Generated' UDA Breakdown records are those generated the previous time this command was run. |
Where are the UDA Breakdown records stored? |
These records are placed into the Employee - UDA Breakdowns makeup table. You can also view the UDA Breakdown records by navigating to: Employees | Payroll | Breakdowns | UDA Breakdown |
