Report Group Reports - Internal Company Filtering

Reports | Report Groups | Reports tab | Report Group Reports | Internal Company Filtering tab

Summary

If your database contains several Internal Companies, then you can use the Internal Company Filtering tab to filter reports so they reflect the relevant internal company. If you are set up as a Report Operator in your User Profile, then you can set up the same report for multiple situations, reducing the need to edit the report settings and destination.

Fields
Period:

The report will include only employees attached to this Period, such as "Monthly" or "Weekly".

Internal Company:

The report will include only employees in this Internal Company.

Note: If you select a Period and an Internal Company, then the Internal Company must be associated with the period that you select (see Periods - Details).

If you select a Period with an Internal Company value, then the reports will apply internal company filtering based on that value. However, if you subsequently delete that Internal Company value from the Period record, then the reports will still filter records based on that Internal Company value because it is still recorded in the report setting.

If you change the Internal Company in a Periods record, then you must check that all relevant reports use the correct Internal Company for that pay period. PayGlobal does not automatically update report settings when you change values in Periods records.
