Administration | Messaging | WorkGroups | Message Diversion Rules tab | Add or Edit | Message Diversion Conditions tab
Summary |
A message must meet the specified conditions set on this tab before it passes through to the Message Diversion Actions tab. |
Fields |
Rank:Rank can be important when a large number of message diversion rules needs to be set, or the same message type needs to go to a number of locations. The rank determines the order of a particular rule compared with the other rules within a WorkGroup. Ranking uses alphabetic or numeric ordering or a combination of both, for example, a1, a2, a3, b1, b2, and b3. For a message diversion rule set as rank 1, and another as rank 2, the diversion rule 1 is applied before diversion rule 2. From e-mail:Complete this field with the e-mail address of the user that can send e-mail. If you want e-mail to be sent from any PayGlobal user, leave this field blank. From file name:This condition applies only to messages that are diverted from the filename and extension entered here, for example, 'pcclock.txt'. The name you enter in this field becomes the name of the file that gets sent to the import folder on the server. You must change this each time you e-mail a file to the server. Note: You can replicate records by highlighting a Message Diversion Rule and then pressing Alt+R. This allows you to change the file name on the new record. |
