Summary

PayGlobal Messaging enables you to send and receive encrypted messages, documents or reports to other users or WorkGroups in the PayGlobal system. It is most often used for ASP (Application Service Provider) users.

Sending Messages

Messages are sent and received using PayGlobal Local Folders. The POP3 (Post Office Protocol 3 - Receiving) and SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol - Sending) details are entered in Modify Company Settings.

To learn how to set up PayGlobal so you can e-mail data files to the ASP server, see How to E-mail Files to the ASP.

WorkGroups

A WorkGroup manages the routing of files to the ASP. It contains a set of rules that are applied to e-mail messages sent to the ASP.

The ASP WorkGroup is specified in Company Settings with the POP3 and SMTP details.

Message diversion rules

These rules determine which message types will be saved, and where and when they are received.
