Sync data path:Use the Browse button to select a path for one-off synchronisations in ADS to SQL conversions. E-mail address:Address of the mailbox that you will send files to for retrieval by PayGlobal. POP3 user name, POP3 password, POP3 server name, POP3 server port:PayGlobal uses POP3 (Post Office Protocol) for mail retrieval. The default port for POP3 is 110 and you do not normally need to change this setting. WorkGroup:For PayGlobal to receive incoming files via email, you must set up a WorkGroup with message diversion rules to instruct PayGlobal how the attached files should be treated and where they are to be directed, such as the Clock folder in the company data directory. If a WorkGroup is not present, then PayGlobal will not check the mailbox and the messaging functionality will not work. SMTP user name, SMTP password, SMTP server name, SMTP server port, SMTP encrypted:PayGlobal uses SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) to send files via email from PayGlobal. You need to obtain these settings from your email administrator. The default port for SMTP is 25 and you do not normally need to change this setting. If PayGlobal is hosted by an Application Service Provider (ASP), then these settings need to be supplied by the ASP. PayGlobal supports authenticated SMTP connections by including the user name and password from the settings. If these details are not supplied then the SMTP connection will be unauthenticated. PayGlobal also has encryption for emails which will enable support for a TLS1.2 connection with SMTP. Note: If the SMTP server Name or the POP3 Server name does not fit within the allowed space, either an entry will need to be made in the hosts file of the computer(s) running the PayGlobal application or a CName will be needed in the DNS server. |
