Modify Company Settings

Administration | Modify Company Settings command

Summary

Modify Company Settings contains the following types of information:

  • Company name

    The text that you enter in the Company name field appears in:

    • The title bar of the main PayGlobal window.
    • The title of every hard-coded and Grid report.
  • Company details

    Includes the company’s address, banking and tax details.

  • General PayGlobal details

    Includes serial and version numbers, and the enabling and disabling of various PayGlobal components.

  • Module-specific details
    • ETP (Employment Termination Payment) allowances (Australia only)
    • General Ledger details for Payroll
    • Time Periods for Labour Budgeting
    • Import/export details for Time & Attendance.

Changing Company Settings

Generally, company settings are defined once only, during the initial database set up by your PayGlobal consultant.

Changing any of the settings here can have significant implications to other areas of the system. Always backup your system before attempting to make changes, and restrict access to those employees with supervisor rights in their Security Profile.

After changing details in Modify Company Settings, you will need to exit PayGlobal and then log back in for the new company settings to take effect.
